Gare de l'Est |
|
Fortunately, our apartment is about only about 3 blocks from one of the stops of our Tour Bus. So we were able to take a brief walk to the front of the Gare de l'Est to catch the bus for our first tour day. This particular tour company has 4 routes that visit various parts of Paris, and all have at least two intersections with the other routes, so you can change during the day.

My wife Claudia on the Tour Bus |
We were able to get on the bus and go right up to the second level for a nice open air tour of Paris. Our loop is on the Sacre-Couer section, which we wouldn't see until later in the day. Instead, we arrived at Printemps and transferred to the Grand Tour line which takes you to all the major landmarks and monuments of Paris.
